DescriptionAs part of its rapid response to the first wave of COVID-19 in Myanmar, the NRM supported the World Food Programme in organizing emergency relief flights between Kuala Lumpur and Yangon at a time when commercial flights were grounded. Among the more than 1 ton of humanitarian aid brought in by the flights were the first 10,000 COVID-19 tests procured by the United Nations as part of its ongoing support to the Ministry of Health and Sports (MoHS) in combating the pandemic. |
